Taking place in the Greensview Yard, students walk/run/skip the course and earn marks for each lap. Each student participates in fundraising and enjoys a fun afternoon with our entire community as spectators and cheerleaders. A student favorite event, Walk For Greensview brings together our school community and raises essential funds to continue to help our PTO thrive through service.
Walk for Greensview on October 4th
We kicked off the Walk For Greensview on September 20th during our entire school town meeting. Your child should have brought home the PTO fundraising packet, which includes all the information.
Save The Date and join us on Friday, October 4th, for the official Walk during lunch recess (10:45am-12:20pm)
Would you like to see the kids in action at school? During the Walk for Greensview, parents are welcome to help mark hands for laps and cheer students along the walking path! If you can only stop by for a few minutes, please do. No signup ahead of time is necessary. We will meet outside near the Walk for Greenview arch, and the PTO will provide markers. Feel free to bring cowbells, pom poms, or signs of support for more fun!
Our Walk is one of the largest fundraisers for Greensview!
The raised funds go directly to serving our Greensview community by helping to support over 20+ PTO events per year, including Fall Family Fun Night, Early Release Skating Parties, Author Visits, Field Trips, money for teachers and grants…just to name a few!

Logos will be printed in larger print, and there is individualized recognition through PTO social media platforms.

While it is a FUNDraiser we always focus on it being a FUN raiser for the kids. Students collect funds the previous weeks and we celebrate together on the day of the walk with matching shirts, music, physical activity and amazing energy that builds the Greensview community.
